Don't throw out those old stock certificates! They may still have value!
A client of stock-search-global recently sent a certificate for a small mining company called Parflo Mines & Energy. The client assumed that the stock was worthless.
However, even though the company name had disappeared and in fact had been changed 3 times over the years, the shares still existed as a new company called RTO Enterprises which traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange, at $l.10 per share.
This client received over $1200.00 for his shares.
The moral of the story - don't automatically assume that all old stocks are worthless, they may still be valuable!.
